New Lanark

This year we would like to take you to New Lanark, a beautifully located village with cotton mills from the 18th century. The place of the great social experiment of Robert Owen who wanted to create the ideal environment for his employees, where they could live in decent conditions, get paid properly and their children could learn
We will have an opportunity to take a tour on this UNESCO listed Heritage Site that you might know from £20 notes from the Clydesdale Bank and walk to the beautiful Falls of Clyde, the only waterfall on the river Clyde. It will be a trip full of great history, amazing landscapes and definitely lots of fun.
